Today is the start of the Easter long weekend.
From earlier posts, you may recall that there are some differences between Christmas and boxing-week in Québec (and other Francophone regions of the country) versus the rest of Canada.
But what about Easter?
In all other provinces, everyone has Easter Friday off, but Easter Monday generally is not a holiday. In Québec, employers have the option of giving either Friday or Monday off, but many (perhaps most) employers decide to give both days off (kind of how it used to work in many other parts of Canada… and how I believe it still works in Prince Edward Island also)
Other than that… no difference. It’s the same. They both look like this (and everything that comes with it) :
