It kind of emphasizes the Francophone-to-Francophone two solitudes which exist (it’s not just limited to Anglophones and Francophones). I think it’s cute — and at least it makes a point.
You’ve seen these Francophone flags of Canada many times on this blog.
Each province and territory has a Francophone flag (recognized by each province’s legislature). The Maritimes has one combined flag (the Acadian Flag). Québec only has one de facto flag (theirs is already a de facto Francophone flag).
